Based in Scotstoun, the role presents an excellent opportunity to influence the success of the team, and the Naval Ships business unit. You will support communications activities, and apply your strong project management and organisational skills. It's a big responsibility, but your verbal and written interpersonal skills will be invaluable in developing and maintaining effective working relationships at senior levels across the business. As an Employee Engagement Associate your main responsibilities will involve: Support the delivery of a comprehensive employee engagement plan to promote company values and address issues identified in the Employee Opinion Survey, including effective measurement and monitoringSupport the implementation and communication of major corporate initiatives, and coordinate delivery of internal communications channels across Maritime - Naval ShipsProduction of weekly operations briefs, toolbox talks and local employee briefingsEnsures a consistent look and feel of all internal communications tools in line with brand guidelines for maximum impactManagement of internal events on behalf of Maritime - Naval Ships from concept to delivery, including Chairman's Awards events, long service awards, leadership conferencesProactively interfaces with internal and external audiences to provide internal communications expertiseSupports other communications activities on an ad hoc basis as required, which will on occasions require travel across sites As an Employee Engagement Associate your skills and qualifications will ideally include: Ideally you will be educated to degree level or equivalent, in a relevant subject with experience of working in a Communications or HR role. Someone who can bring not just excellent written communications skills, but evidence of having applied them in a similarly large organisation. You'll also be adept at engaging multiple stakeholders.
