		<title>Study Manager  bioanalytical Scientific Support   </title>
		<description>Our client is the worlds fastest growing provider of contract testing services to the biopharmaceutical industry. Their core offering includes a wide range of GMP, GLP and GCP tests to support the Biologics and Vaccines from their development to release into the market. They are currently seeking candidates for the role of Study Manager (BioAnalytical Scientific Support) to be based at their facility in the Glasgow area.As a member of the Operations team, and reporting to the BioAnalytical Department Head, the Study Manager will lead a small group of Analysts. The Study Manager will be expected to provide technical expertise for development of custom assays and technical transfer of client assays, as well as project management of testing client samples. BioAnalytical testing includes bioassays (e.g. ADCC, cell proliferation, cell signalling assays) Anti-drug Antibody, PK studies, HCP, ELISAs etc. Key responsibilities will be to&#058;Provide expert technical advice both internally and to clientsWrite compliant testing methods, and accurate reportsSchedule and co-ordinate laboratory activities to ensure timelines are metTraining of Analysts to perform testingProblem solvingReview of data Ensure final reports that are prepared are a true and accurate reflection of the testing performedRegularly communication with clients Ensure GxP compliance throughout testing and work with QA to address any potential issuesEnsure all health &#38; safety regulations are adhered toProvide management and mentoring for direct reportsThe successful applicant will be educated at least to degree level in a Scientific Discipline. Preference is given to applicants with relevant experience.Practical lab experience at least two of the following are essential&#058; ADCC assays, ELISAs, MSD or bioassays.Enthusiasm and good organisational skills are essential.Excellent communication skills coupled with at least 3 years supervisory experience within a GMP environment are desirable. Preference is given to degrees in Virology, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Microbiology.Excellent communication skills coupled with at least 3 years supervisory experience within a GMP environment are desirable. Enthusiasm, good organisations skills, ability to communicate with clients and all levels of staff are essential.
